Visited for light lunch. Delighted to see my favourite beans on toast! Delicious and presented lovely. Followed with a slice of cake which was lovely too. This is a fab cafe, welcoming staff, all home made food. So many places get it badly wrong - this is not one of them! Highly recommend if you are in Middleton in Teesdale.

Very friendly cafe. We popped in on one occasion for a coffee and a hot chocolate. Both drinks were good. I also grabbed breakfast here one morning and it was very tasty.

We called in here before checking in to our room that we were staying out close by. The service was very attentive and both drinks and food were excellent. The deli side was also great with some tasty treats to buy too. We will definitely be popping back in again.

Stopped off for lunch today and had a delicious quiche and ginger cheesecake; with a creamy hot chocolate. Great service despite being busy; with top notch food. Returning soon!

Came to stay in Middleton-in-Teesdale for a week and visited this cafe a few times. On all occasions food, coffee and atmosphere were perfect. A lovely friendly little cafe in a beautiful part of the country.

Called in whilst on a visit to do a local pet sit. We had a breakfast sausage and bacon sandwich, a brie, bacon and cranberry sandwich, a cornflake cake, a fruit scone, two cups of Americano coffee and a Ginger tea. Delicious. The tables were busy and a couple of local ladies asked if they could share our table. No problem! Everyone is very friendly. Recommended if you are M-in-T. Dave PS. The cakes looked incredible, especially the Lemon Meringue which was about a foot tall.

We stopped here for takeaway lunch. Greeted by a lovely guy on arrival. We had cheese and pickle sandwiches which were lovely! The fruit scone and Victoria sponge cake also very good. Would definitely return.
